SCRIPTURE for SUNDAY

Give thanks to the Lord,

for He is good;

His love endures forever.
Let them give thanks to the Lord
for His unfailing love,
and His wonderful deeds
for men.

for He satisfies the thirsty

and fills the hungry

with good things.
Psalm 107:1 , 8 & 9

The 107th Psalm is an exhortation of praise celebrating God's unfailing benevolence toward those who have cried to Him in the crises of their lives.

Verse 8 is repeated again in 15, 21 and 31.

The chapter concluded (v.43) with this instruction:

Whoever is wise,

let him heed these things

and consider the great love

of the Lord.

When I read this Psalm, the three words that just leap from the page are...
'GOD'S UNFAILING LOVE'.
How wonderful it is to know that our great God never changes.
He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
