SURVEY SAID!

No, this is not a SURVEY!

I'm just having game show withdrawals after spending a few days at my mother's. (just kidding!)

My mother is 92, and we have a great time visiting. While I'm there, I try not to disrupt her usual routine too much, so we watch alot of shows on the Game Show channel. Family Feud is one of her favorites.

Most days, her TV (game shows) and radio are her main entertainment. That is, unless her great-grandchildren, Caylie & Chase come over to see her. They always brighten her day!

Here are the two little munchkins enjoying an afternoon 'swim' in their pool.
Aren't they cute?
I took a few other pictures, but they were a little blurred, as too much splashing was going on!

Well, now we're back home, and the laundry is all caught up, so we're ready for the weekend! Hope you are, too!

Hi Susan,
Glad to hear you are back home again! And that you enjoyed the time with your mother. My MIL will be 92 in December, and also likes to watch those same game shows. Sweet picture of the grandchildren.

Hope you are enjoying your Sunday. :)

Hey, girl. I will never understand how you can be as busy as you are but still find time to maintain your blog. I have trouble figuring out what my plan for the day is--by the time I finally get it together in my mind, it's past noon. Didn't I just finish breakfast? Now I barely have time enough to again search for something to toss to my house pet for dinner.I've just got to dig myself out of this rut. Ugh. On the bright side, I do know how much you enjoy your kids--both the big ones and the little ones--or should I say both the young ones and the not-so-young ones--not to forget Marjie's of the same kinds--too cute, those 2 little guys. Seeing them playing happily in their very own plastic pond sure takes me back. Life was so much simplier in those days, right? Hey, I know what you need to clear your brain--a good game of cribbage! That'll get those synapses sparking and help you dispose of all that game show debris. We need to have some quality time together. I look forward to having your trounce me again--yeah, right. Maybe in August????????? In the meantime, xxxooo. Toni

Thanks, Susan B.! The kiddies are so adorable, aren't they?

Toni...I don't believe you for a second! You work circles around me, & you have a beautiful house & yard to prove it!!
I'll only play cribbage with you after a seafood dinner (brain food). Need all the help I can get in that department! Ha!
Can't wait until we get together again.
Stay cool!
