This morning I woke up to see a blanket of white across our yard. Actually, the snow was so dry that it looked like a quilted covering with brown stitching, because shades of the leaves underneath the snow were still peeking through.
It's been a good day for soup and corn muffins, and curling up with a good book.

Susan,
It sounds lovely to look at and comfort food to warm your insides in always a great idea this time of year!
I made chicken-potato-corn-carrot chowder for supper ~ we had no new snow but it's icy cold outside :o)
Blessings!
